Build your first rocket
MARS brings TMU students together to learn model rocketry through tutorials, team projects, and launches. No matter your program, you can join the community and explore the design, manufacturing, avionics, and flight-data side of rocketry.
Around 20 teams take part in each winter and summer launch, with a different group of teams participating each season. Throughout the semester, students design and build their rockets while learning tools and techniques including Onshape, OpenRocket and 3D printing.
